Data Processing Agreement
Last updated: March 9, 2026
How MultiStore POS processes personal data on behalf of merchant customers using the service.
Roles
When you use MultiStore POS to manage customer orders, staff, and contacts, you are typically the data controller for your end-customer and employee data. MultiStore POS acts as a data processor, handling that data only on your documented instructions as reflected in your use of the product and these terms.
Processing scope
- Storage and display of customer, staff, and transaction records you enter.
- Sending receipts or notifications you trigger (e.g. WhatsApp share links).
- Operating online checkout, payment references, and payout records.
- Backups, security monitoring, and support access when you request help.
Processor obligations
We will process personal data confidentially, implement appropriate security measures, assist with data subject requests where feasible, notify you of certain breaches without undue delay, and use subprocessors (such as hosting and Paystack) under contracts that impose similar protections.
International transfers
Data may be processed in Nigeria or in cloud regions used by our infrastructure providers. Where data leaves Nigeria, we rely on appropriate safeguards consistent with applicable law.
Term & deletion
This processing arrangement lasts for the subscription term. Upon termination, we will delete or return personal data within a reasonable period, subject to legal retention requirements. Request details at hello@multistorepos.com.ng.
