Regulatory framework

MultiStore POS is designed for businesses operating in Nigeria and aligns with commonly applicable frameworks including the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR), consumer protection principles, and tax record-keeping expectations for merchants.

Data protection

We implement organisational and technical measures described in our Privacy Policy. Merchants using MultiStore POS remain responsible for their own customer notices, lawful bases for processing customer data, and staff training.

Payments

Card and bank payments are processed by licensed partners such as Paystack. MultiStore POS does not store full card numbers. PCI-DSS obligations for card data are primarily handled by the payment processor within their certified environment.

Merchant responsibilities

• Maintain valid business registration where required (e.g. CAC).
• Issue accurate receipts and invoices to customers.
• Keep payout bank details current and respond to verification requests.
• Report suspicious activity and cooperate with fraud investigations.
